Who I am and what I build

I’m Khushal Dewra. I design and build websites in Framer, and I publish free templates and paid plugins on the Framer marketplace as KDX Studios.

This is the long version. People ask me the same few things:

Where are you from?

How did you learn Framer?

Do you write the code yourself?

Are the templates really free?

How do you make money?

Can I hire you?

The answers are below, in about that order.

Where I’m from

I live and work in Bahadurgarh, in Haryana, near Delhi. I’m on India time, IST.

My first computer was a second-hand one, around 2021. After that, for years, I worked on a second-hand HP Omen 16 that came from my brother. In April 2026 I moved to a MacBook Pro M5. It’s the first Apple device I’ve owned.

I’m doing a BA (Hons) from Delhi University by correspondence. Classes are on weekends, so the weekdays are for building.

Starting with Framer

I learned Framer helping my brother, who does conversion optimisation for clients. I picked it up working on their sites.

It’s still the tool I build everything in. Client sites, templates, plugins. If I shipped it, it was made in Framer.

My templates went up on the marketplace between July and October 2026. There are 12 of them, all free. The 20 plugins were listed in August 2026.

Working with AI

I don’t type code. I design the page, decide how each part should behave, and Claude Code writes the code under my direction.

Then I test what it built and send it back until it works the way I want. Every one of my plugins was made like this.

The design and the decisions are mine. The typing is Claude’s.

Claude Code also runs my research, and now and then I use Codex too. It’s how I ship software as a designer who doesn’t code.

KDX Studios

KDX Studios is the name I work under. It does three things, all in Framer: client websites, free templates and paid plugins.

For clients, I design and build sites for startups and small businesses. I take on a few projects at a time, from a single landing page to a full site with CMS and forms.

The templates are made for specific kinds of business: boutique hotels, travel agencies, manufacturers, AI startups, consultants, med spas, landscapers, auto repair shops and more. Yes, they’re really free. Every one remixes into your own Framer project. Some, like Datum and Consultants, also come in Spanish.

The plugins cover payments with Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and UPI, forms that send to Airtable or Telegram, ordering over WhatsApp, and more.

As of 12 October 2026 that adds up to 32 listings on the Framer marketplace and 347 followers on framer.com.

How I make money: client projects and the paid plugins, plus a commission from Framer when someone buys a plan through one of my links.

I also write on the KDX blog. I published 17 posts there between 22 August and 2 October 2026, mostly about Framer templates, covers, dark mode and how-tos.

Right now

My weeks go to client sites, new templates and plugins, and posting what I’m building on X.

The newest template is Casa Calma, a 21-page site for boutique hotels. It went live on 1 October 2026.

I build in public. Longer term I want to be a creator-founder: someone who makes products and shows how they get made.

Outside work I plan around three things: health, money and happiness.
